The Phoenician Golf Club is a resort and golf club with public access located in Scottsdale. The golf club currently consists of one 18-hole, par 71 golf course. The club's history spans back quite a ways in Arizona golf. The Phoenician Golf Club originally started as the 18-hole Valley Club at the Jokake Inn, opened in 1940s and designed by David Gill. In the 1970s Jack Snyder completely redesigned thoe course with the opening of the Phoenician Resort. In the 1980s the course expanded to 27-holes. In the early 2000s, Forrest Richardson again redesigned the 27-hole course. The latest rennovation of the course occurred in 2018, when the club underwent an extensive redesign by Phil Smith and was reduced back to 18-holes, the project completing in November 2018. The new course utilizes a layout of old and new hole designs from all 3 of the previous 9-hole courses.  Lodging accomodations for the resort can be booked through The Phoenician. The Phoenician Golf Club is managed by Troon Golf.
