McDowell Mountain Golf Club is a public 18-hole, par 71 championship golf course located in Scottsdale. Formerly called Sanctuary Golf Course at Westworld, the course opened in 1999, and was designed by Randy Heckenkemper. In 2011, the course was purchased by Phil Mickelson and Steve Loy, underwent renovations overseen again by Randy Heckenkemper and was renamed McDowell Mountain Golf Club. McDowell Mountain Golf Club is a Phil Mickelson golf property.
