Grayhawk Golf Club is a public golf club, consisting of two 18-hole par 72 championship courses - the Raptor Course and the Talon Course. The Talon Course opened in 1994 and was designed by David Graham and Gary Panks. The Raptor Course opened a year later in 1995 and was designed by Tom Fazio. Grayhawk is amongst the very best golf clubs in Arizona and both courses have been hosts for a myriad of important professional and amateur events. The Talon course has hosted events including the semi-finals and finals of the Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf, pro ams for the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and the Heather Farr Trophy Matches and the Fiesta Bowl Golf Classic. The Raptor Course has hosted events including the PGA Frys.com Open from 2007-2009, the inaugural Williams World Challenge, Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf and Waste Management Phoenix Open pro ams, the Thunderbird International Junior, the PGA Jr. League Championship presented by National Car Rental will be held on Raptor through 2022, and the NCAA chose the Raptor course as the host site for the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships from 2020 to 2022.
