Encanto Golf Course is a public municipal golf course located near downtown Phoenix and is run by the city of Phoenix. The facility consists of  two courses: the 18-hole par 70 Encanto 18 Course, and the 9-hole Par 30 Encanto 9 Course. Encanto 18 is one of the oldest golf courses in Phoenix - it opened in 1935 and was designed by William P. Bell. Encanto 9 opened 17 years later in 1952 and was designed by William F. Bell and William P. Bell.
