ASU Karsten Golf Club was a public 18-hole, par 70 championship golf course located on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe. The course opened in 1989, and was designed by Pete Dye. This course has been home to golf legends Phil Mickelson, Billy Mayfair, Grace Park, Jon Rahm, Paul Casey, Chez Reavie, Pat Perez, Matt Jones, and Anna Nordqvist during their collegiate careers at Arizona State. As ASU golf has officially transitioned to Papago Golf Course, unfortunately ASU Karsten Golf Course permanently closed on May 6th 2019 as ASU relocates other athletic facilities to expand the main ASU campus academic facilities. The iconic Pete Dye course will be missed.
